School Trip to Manchester Cathedral and Jewish Museum

Classes 1 and 2 went to Manchester for a trip linked to our RE curriculum. Here are some photographs of our visit.

We looked at the different stained glass window and listened to the stories behind them.

We looked at the Easter story, shown in these carvings around the entrance gate.

There was an unexpected visit and benediction from the Bishop.

We had to look for things around us and record them in an activity guide.

At the Jewish museum we looked at different artifacts linked to worship in the synagogue.

We acted out the story of the Ten Plagues of Egypt, which Jewish families tell at Passover.
