Year 2

This week we have started looking at different ways of spelling the "l" sound at the end of a word. We have concentrated on le (the most common) and el this week. Please note that I will be mean, and mix the order up when I test them next week!

Year 1

The "ai" digraph (which we learnt last week) is never used at the end of a word. Instead it is spelt "ay".

Week 4   07/10/16 (to be tested on 14/10/16)

Year 2

This week we are looking at two spelling patterns. The first is words beginning with wr (but only the r is sounded). The second is when there is an "igh" sound at the end of a word, which is most commonley spelt with a y.
